In Liberal Utopia, all activities not routinely engaged in by libs will be banned.

Minor repairs and maintenance such as oil changes are allowed in driveways, and can be done from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. So if you have to run to the hospital at 11 pm and you discover your front headlights are out, it is illegal to replace them?

Amateur car mechanics working in their driveways will face some new rules Yeah, what are they thinking working on their cars at home?
Everyone knows that everything from an oil change up to an engine rebuild can be done in an Autozone parking lot.
At least it looks that way whenever I drive past an Autozone.

Cut to the chase. The leftist mindset (sic) is: everything not commanded is forbidden.

The move also comes after some Lakewood neighborhood residents complained that neighbors were drinking beer and socializing in driveways while car projects lay idle. So much for priate property rights.

Glad this isn’t East Texas. How many cars you’re allowed on cinder blocks in the driveway or front yard is more like it.

Sounds to me like people were complaining more about the guys drinking beer than they were about working on cars. They just want more control over everything that goes on.

Actually, growing up in Queens, that’s what I thought public streets were for. You ain’t lived till you swapped a transmission on a car parked on the street.

We have the same rules here in the local zoning restrictions. In the middle of Alaska.

Glad this isnt East Texas. How many cars youre allowed on cinder blocks in the driveway or front yard is more like it. Interesting, instead of doing these major repairs in your drive, it seems like you would have to do the work in the yard.

All home auto repairs must be charged the same hourly labor rate as those done in registered shops. How dare someone repair his own vehicle. I’m outraged!

When given a chance, “liberal” government will gladly take all remaining rights from citizens and control every one of their actions, from morning to night, from birth to death.
