Thanks for the heads-up. I will watch his re-run tonight. Christie is definitely a liberal, I know this. (how can you live and work in SF and not be?) But she is passionate about animals and has done a lot of good on a lot of dog lists for pet owners. She’s a tough cookie and can be very blunt.
As I have said, to pet lovers, this transcends politics. I really hate that I sat through all that crap on CNN before they got to this story, but it really needs to be reported. Most people aren't internet junkies like we are, and I think some still don't even know the implications of this story. I am grateful to anyone, conservative or liberal, who will keep this story in the news so that more pet owners don't have to suffer the loss of their four-legged friends.
I still don't think we've seen the last of the recalls, and I am not at all certain that tainted wheat gluten from China hasn't ended up in human food.
