I think your statement is the crux of rudy’s weakness.
there are many that will “hold their nose” to ultimatly vote for him as a vote against Hilary Clinton HOWEVER they will not spend their time or money or encourage others to vote “for” him.
Rudy’s support is only from a “Hilary Stink” factor, it is not a pro Guiliani vote.
Most of the Rudy supporters on FR would just as soon vote for a Ham Sandwich if it looked like it would beat HRC.
I look at the complete package.
1-No one better to prosecute the war.
2-No one better to keep the clintons out of the White House
3-No one better with a chance to run the board
4-No one better to lead this bitterly divided country
