EARTH TO LAMAR: FRED LOOKING THE PART AIN'T ENOUGH (video)
- by Mia T, 4.3.07
-
Lamar Alexander on Hardball, pushing Fred Thompson for president confirms the obvious: Fred's top asset is his stage presence, followed closely by his presidential and other executive experience... on film.
Fred's geography and ideology seal the deal for Lamar, the former being pure South and the latter, pure enough Right. |

Putting doctrinal purity ahead of making sure a defective and dangerous clinton never again controls this country is pre-clinton thinking.HOO-RAH!

I’d say this country won’t survive another Democrat, and might not yet survive the last one.

So, Mia, you don’t like Hillary...but yet you don’t support the most likeable, electable conservative we have either?
Who do you support?

Too bad he’s a hopeless liberal who is only marginally preferable to Hillary or Barack the Magic Negro.

Mia T is correct.
But I would add that all we need is a Republican to win California. Do that, and its game over.
Rudy is the only Republican running that can do that.
Hillary must be stopped.

WIGS, POWDER , THE PRESIDENCY AND RUDY:
A president's precedents. Consider George Washington.Wigs were de rigueur in Washington's times. Indeed, stature was directly proportional to wig size.
Although Washington, himself, didn't wear a wig--the ponytail was all his--he did powder his locks.

I don't buy the argument that some Freepers seem to make, that 'being a true conservative' qualifies a candidate to be president. You can't be referring to me, because I said Fred's conservatism was his top qualification, not his only qualification.

As are the blogging moonbats. Check out this page titled, “Don’t Laugh About Fred Thompson,” circa March 14, a few days after Hurricane Fred touched the shore...

This isn't a 'mindless liberal attack.' This is coming from Fred's (mindless?) promoter. See post 7.

Did George Washington wear a dress, mascara, and basically the whole 9 yards of ‘drag queen’ accessories as RINO Rudy did?
That’s a pretty poor comparison, IMO.
RINO Rudy is not the answer, and is just as dangerous as HRC, IMO.

Freds top asset is that he is a conservative. Are you sure, or did he simply play one?
