Cnsidering how popular it has become for people to murder their their children when they are unborn or partially born merely because they represent an inconvenience, I'm surprised that such tales of 'inconvenient' children being dealt with in a similar fashion are not far more common.

We used to ride in the little storage compartment behind the back seat in our little 60's VW bug.

Question arises as to why they didn't just buy a bigger car when they needed it. If the oldest were 12 and 14, they had to have known they needed more room. It couldn't have been 12 years since they bought their last car, now could it?

Having once driven an 8, 11, & 12 year old from Connecticut to Nebraska & back, I can think of some benefits in this

Especially when the two older ones kept sticking their armpits in the youngest's face for about 400 miles!!

"Where are we?"
Look at the road signs

"What time is it?"
Five minutes later than the last time you asked

"Where are we?"

"What time is it?"
Five minutes later than the last time you asked

Tell him not to look at me

He keeps looking at me

Tell him not to look at me

He's looking at me again

Tell him not to look at me

And on, and on, and on!!
