WAFF.. IIRC was the worse TV news station around, so very cheesy. I didn't know they were still in business (Muscle Shoals, Florence area). Unfortunately it used to be the only station we picked up via antenna as a youth living in Cherokee Alabama.
Now talk about a remote area, Cherokee, Al. has no web sites or news sites to it whatsoever on the WWW... I have seen towns half their size with at least a web site dedicated to them. The school was once called "Cherokee Vocational High School" but I guess it went through a some PCism and got changed. Shame now the school I graduated no longer exists due to it.

They never mention the age of the teenage daughter. Since "mom" is 45, and they don't mention child endangerment charges or foster care, I'm guessing the daughter is 18-19 years old.
