I know exactly what you're saying. I buried a child in '89. My entire existence crashed & burned. I had more than one person tell me "You're young. You can have other children." Stupidity has no boundaries.
I agree with you. I think it's "for" him. It may be her way of honoring him. Keeping his memory alive.
Sue I think that's exactly what it is.
The only thing I hope is that she doesn't give in to an unspoken pressure to live up to her father's daredevil image. Right now she is young and her mother can exert control over her actions and I think that her mother will be very watchful over the productions, but starting out this young and being set in an image of her father, makes me worry about what she will do as she grows up trying to live up to that image.
