I was just remembering how young Jackie was at the time of Jack's election. He had quite a few years on her, too. As a First Lady, she did just fine and it was surely not easy on her from beginning to the tragic end. With what we know now about her husband's infidelity, she was managing more than any of us knew. And she had the 2 young children and even suffered a miscarriage during that time. As you said, with many, she is still among the First Lady favorites and most would, at the very least, give her an "A" in class.
