South Park, the cartoon series that has pushed the bounds of taste for a decade, has perhaps produced its most spectacularly offensive episode yet.
Certainly Her Majesty is unlikely to be amused by a programme that shows her blowing her brains out.
The scene begins with a clearly alarmed Queen receiving a call on her mobile telling her that an evil British plot to conquer America has gone awry.

She then reaches for a handgun, places it in her mouth and shoots herself. She can be seen tumbling from her throne and in the final image her bloody corpse is depicted lying prostrate on the palace floor.
The episode, broadcast last night in the US, also featured presidential contender Hillary Clinton in a parody of "24", the thriller that takes place over the course of a day and which typically involves a terrorist threat of epic proportions.
In the course of last night's show - as well as having the Queen commit suicide - a group of Russian mercenariesworking for the British install a nuclear device in Mrs Clinton's more intimate areas. The plot is foiled.

They must not watch much South Park if they think the Queen shooting herself is the most offensive thing the show has done..
?? Jesus is one of the most lovable characters on the show.. I still get a little misty eyed when I see the Christmas episode where Jesus is sitting all alone with a birthday cake singing sadly Happy birthday to me... That is actually a pretty telling statement IMHO.
Please tell me the Brits aren't more concerned about this than they are about their troops being held hostage in Iran.
I missed it! Is there a place online where I can watch it?
It is available to download on iTunes today.
It's the Brits, that's what will get the attention of readers. To be honest, if they aren't South Park viewers, this is what they will think. You shouldn't judge brits on the actions of muckraking journalists.
Did you just love the yellow teeth and wooden ships?
Yes, it was clearly intended to get into the absurdist category.
I did feel that they didn't exaggerate Hillary's ability to talk down to an audience (I did notice her southern accent, but it was too subtle for South Park).
And it would have been more appropriate at the end to have the Muslims actually be terrorists, but they really didn't have time to pay that off.
Still, an excellent episode. The quality of SP increases each season.
You can probably find it on allabout-sp.net within the next day or so...they have all of the episodes online sans last night's episode...
Actually, everyone expects the Muslims to be the terrorists which is exactly why M&T would not make them the terrorists.. that would be too easy..
It's the twist on top of the twist on top of the twist. You go through the whole season of 24 thinking 2 people are being persecuted for being different and then, wham, one of them is actually a terrorist, but the other gets blamed.
Or better yet, that they turn out to be vicious anti-Semites and Cartman warms up to them.
But I was just happy when the power went out and the 24 clock reset. That was hilarious.
I've got $100 for the first person shown on an MSM news broadcast holding up a "Hilldog for President" or "Hilldog 2008" sign.
Yes At first I thought it was pull on
Yeah having Queen Betty comitt suicide maybe push it
I so hope that "Hilldog" becomes her moniker.
"She ain't no human being..."
tee hee! Get pissed, destroy...
It's got to be "Hildog" with only one L. Check the screenshot upthread.
