I'm humming the tune-less tune now.
The Fighting Cephalopods can't pass too well but boy can they dribble!

Go Pods!!

Two questions...

1.) How do you pronounce it?

2.) Does this mean I can get rid of all these freakin Beanie Babies now that they are worth what? Millions of dollars by now, right?

>How do you pronounce it?

... Cthulhu (other spellings: Kutulu, Q'thulu, Ktulu, Cthulu, Kthulhut, Kulhu, Thu Thu, Tulu, and many others) is a fictional being created by horror author H.P. Lovecraft. Cthulhu is often preceded by the epithet Great, Dead, or Dread.

Lovecraft transcribed the pronunciation of Cthulhu as "Khlûl'hloo" or "Kathooloo." S. T. Joshi points out, however, that Lovecraft gave several differing pronunciations on different occasions. According to Lovecraft, however, this is merely the closest that the human vocal apparatus can come to reproducing the syllables of an alien language.

I'd like to have the little victims set - just to display on my desk at work.

My favorite part
of the victims is they're all
round so they all fit

in Cthulhu's claws.
So, depending on my mood,
Cthulhu can switch

from ravaging the
scientist one day, the Fed
the next day, and wrap

up the week with the
Librarian on Friday . . .
It's my monster dreams . . .

I was a huge Lovecraft fan. He was no doubt one of the scariest authors ever.

At least that's what I thought back in 1975.

I've got to get me one.

He gave me nightmares.

He lived an odd live writing for pulp sci-fi magazines. Not much money. If I recall correctly he had a rented room and lived on coffee and toast, or something pretty close to that. He died pretty young of stomach cancer or some GI tract problem.
