Guess what, the GPL3 latest draft is out. The anti-TiVo provision is still there, Stallman still wanting to extend his license to control other people's hardware. I don't think Linus Torvalds will be pleased.

ROFL, as usual, you couldn't be any more wrong. Well, you did get the word right, "pleased". Except that you said he wouldn't be LOL.

I don't see anything there about the TiVo clause, so who knows.

One thing is certain. Torvalds' voice is a powerful one given Linux's high status and profile, thankfully he's not interested in the religion of software. He just wants to make really good software for the sake of having the best stuff out there. And the more people, products, houses, businesses, etc, that use it, the better.
