In the Cold War days, the left would reassure us that the Soviets had no intentions of expansion. That was all a right wing myth. The Commies were clever, as they rarely let their intentions known.
Now, however, we have the same left, but out enemy is up front about what they want. They want to destroy us. The want to build a nuke and blow up Israel.
Sooooo, the left can't blame it on something else (right wingers, poverty, etc).
They did let us a little breathing room before they started wimpering.
Remember - right after 9/11, Tom Daschel's quivering lower lip. Congress was standing together in a display of unity. You could see the lefties thoughts. "Please President Bush, save us!" And you could see the thoughts of the resolute. "This will last two or three weeks, max"
So, here we are.
Can't we carve off a portion of this country and give it to the propagandists?
They can play with their carbon footprints, hospitals, and art museums and leave us alone.
I fear for this country. We are becoming a nation of ignorant wimps waiting for goverment hand-outs.
