March 27, 2007, Tuesday, STULTIFY

In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Tomorrow I’m bringing in chains, so beware.

The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. I’m just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words “as if” can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School! Yes, we’re all here. No lumpen today.

RULES: You must use the WFTD in a sentence for an A. For a + after your “A,” you must bring in a link of the word usage or something funny, a poem or some prose that will elucidate the word for us.

If you need to know how to link, come to the subbie's desk.

I'm about the only thing that is going to be breaking soil today. The temperature is supposed to seriously plunge for the rest of the week, so I need to hold off putting anything more in outside.
