That was the intended perspective, achieved by switching back and forth without a personal attachment. And that's what works well in action scenes ... the reader's mind automatically makes a choice of perspective if not directed by the writer.

And that's what works well in action scenes ... the reader's mind automatically makes a choice of perspective if not directed by the writer. A valid method. I prefer to have the reader associate with a character, and so I would have told that from the Israelis POV, the woman at the window, or maybe even the cops POV.
