"The Phillies in conjunction with the National NeedleArts Association, are inviting needlearts enthusiasts to the first-ever Stitch n' Pitch Night at Citizens Bank Park on June 26 versus the Reds at 7:05 p.m.
Whether it's finishing an old project or starting a new one, fans are invited to knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint all while enjoying Phillies baseball."
This sounds like fun! I hope that those of you in that area are able to take up the Phillies on their offer! It appears that they are offering a $7.00 discount on tix.
Hee hee! I'm in the Philly area and this sounds like fun! I'm teaching my 9-year-old daughter to knit.
If you knew the history of Phillies fans and their props (i.e., the infamous "Bat Night"), you would not venture within a hundred miles of this shindig. Imagine Phillies fans with an abundance of sharp pointed objects in their hands!
PING, girlfriend!
Hey, LEL, maybe they'll have a "bring your gay dog" night.
Ping
it'd be the only way i'd stay awake at a baseball game!!
