Well, for gods sake how much proof do you need? Pit bulls are dangerous. I say that and I own a Bull Mastiff.
Excuse me, I didn't say anything one way or the other.
I simply know that the pit bull gangs, both pro and con, are going to get revved up and super heated.

Depends on how they are raised, trained and treated. I have come across many sweet pitbulls.
True story -- happened today.
There is a home FOR LEASE across the street from us. We had noticed a family of 3 moving "things" into the empty house during the past week, but no one has moved in officially.
TODAY, we noticed that the realtor was on the property, and we inquired if the house had been leased.
The realtor said that the owner, realtor, and new tenents had met yesterday to sign the lease. And ONLY at that time, did the new tenents advise the owner that they owned a pit bull. Thank God, the house-owner and the realtor called off the deal immediately.
We thanked the realtor again and again, for protecting our neighbor from having to content with a pit bull. Our quiet neighborhood has many people who walk their pets on leases, and there are little children playing outdoors all the time.
The property owner and realtor had the COURAGE to take a STAND against renting to pit-bull owners. We are truly blessed.
Here is my pitbull rule.
I hate them as they kill to many kids. When an owner lives in the neighborhood or walk their bull in my neighborhood. I tell them that it is an area with children and to please keep the dog leashed. I advise them if I see the dog unleashed for any time period I will kill the dog...If my kids are attacked I will kill the dog and the owner.
My FRiend, love, enjoy and care for your dog,
but please don't delude yourself that they won't be coming for your dog in the future.
