Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Tomorrow I’m bringing in chains, so beware.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. I’m just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words “as if” can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

I'm all atwittered about the native plants we bought at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday. We've put in three, but, yesterday when Cyber got home, it was too danged hot to put more in. They are already blooming!
i was listening to the press conference about the 12 yo boy scout lost in NC. I am praying he is ok. xsbrownie is also 12 and i heard this AM that the kid is ADD, as she is, it really broke my heart to think of him out there wandering around for so many days by himself.

For me, Spring's arrival is like Christmas Eve. As soon as Autumn arrives, I start counting down the number of days until Spring. The anticipation of warm weather, new leaves and flowers and birds, the smell of fresh earth... the whole shebang! The whole Spring and Summer awaits...
I haven't been able to follow it, it spooks me too much. I have also prayed all will be well.
