Good morning! Indeed, they have caught on that we REMEMBER their predictions of a coming ice age back in the 70's. That's why they have suddenly switched to "climate change."

I still want someone to answer my ozone question.

Ozone is oxygen with an extra radical...O3. It is what it is. There is no "good ozone" and "bad ozone."

Given that, why is it that we are concerned when there is too much ozone on ozone alert days and are told to curtail it, and yet too little ozone in the upper atmosphere is bad? If the ozone we produce here on the surface won't eventually rise into the upper atmosphere, then how does the ozone up there get replenished if we stop doing the things which supposedly hurt the ozone?

And why is it that the things that hurt the upper level ozone (vehicle exhaust, for example) are also the things we are to curtail when there is an ozone alert day?

Until someone can explain all of this, I will simply look at this as a ploy to trick the rubes with pseudo-scientific words.

I'm going to wait on going to the store, so I'm going over my favorite songs. I've narrowed it down to two: Billy Joel's "While the Night Is Still Young" and Amy Grant's "How Can We See That Far?" They both have a personal meaning to me, but I've always had a thing for Amy...
