Took a few months to adjust to giving my cat subcutanous fluids and other meds and then to think a can of food would do her in is a little stressful.

As to the confusion, seems to be my normal state.

Happy to say, the foods she eats in not part of the recall

Your comment about confusion gave me a chuckle. Join the club:) I've been through the subQ thing, more than once. Good luck with your cat. One of mine made it to 22, but she didn't have kidney failure til the end. When they get so old, things just wear out, like I seem to be doing,lol! I'm nearing 54 but feel like 90 some days.......
