I have to disagree with you. I thought it was fabulous. A perfect blend of history and poetic license/drama. Second only to the Sopranos.

After watching this, I had little sense of why Antony and Cleopatra is ranked as one of the greatest love stories of all time. Nice touch that Caeasarion was saved but it is inaccurate. He was Pullo's "replacement child".
