"If Fred Thompson was at Thermopylae the movie would have been called 1."
Jack Bauer calls Fred Thompson "sir"... and means it.

Now I'm impressed. I really, really, really hate those clamsheel things. Actually I've always been impressed by Fred Thompson. Can you imagine a bigger contrast between two who call(ed) Tennessee home than that between Al Gore and Fred Thompson.

Fred Thompson Rocks.....and anyone Conservative who boinked her should be Prez...
And imagine Duncan Hunter..Fred Thompson....the Bumper sticker would say "Hunter Thompson"...
what is his voting record?
Get real. Fred's a moderate liberal Republican of the McCain, Hagel, Howard Baker, Lamar Alexander type, with the personal presence of a natural actor.
Thompson ran for the Senate as a "pro-choicer." He was one of the original authors of McCain-Feingold-THOMPSON, and was THE primary mover of "CFR" through the Congress. McCain's chief of staff even gave him the "credit" for its passage. He and John McCain are best buddies. Whatever kind of governance you think you would get out of McCain? That's pretty much what you'd get from a Thompson presidency.
