Click on this link to watch EagleCam the live Eagle camera at Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Norfolk VA. This pair has been nesting here for about 4 years and have produced 12 offspring so far. This season there were 3 eggs...so far today there's one egg and 2 brand new hatchlings.
It's pretty amazing that you can find a pair of Bald Eagles in such a densley populated urban area. The nest is about a quarter mile from the main runway at Norfolk International Airport, about a mile from the Navy's Little Creek Amphibious Base and about 5 miles from downtown Norfolk. Yet here they are...

EagleCam When the mother moves, the little grey fuzz balls she's fussing over are the hatchlings hatched yesterday and today.

They'll keep the camera going until the kids leave the nest. I was amazed last year at how quickly they developed!

My Golden Retriever had to be put down because of kidney failure Feb 7 she only ate Beneful.
To: LadyInLexington
I'm sorry. I fed my dogs Beneful briefly yrs ago. But then, I tried many brands before settling on Royal Canin.

They really are...both parents are now almost fulltime engaged in delivering food to the nest. The eat about 20 hours a day...they should be getting big!
