Greek critics have blasted "300," a Hollywood recreation of the 480 BC Battle of Thermopylae
Wrong. 300 is a recreation of the graphic novel 300, which was based to an extent on the Battle of Thermopylae.

The movie, outside the fact that there were battles between the Greeks and Persians is based on fiction. Some of the other comic books Frank Miller has written are Star Trek, Super girl, Superman, Incredible Hulk, Batman and Bat Boy. The comic book writer has NEVER written a nonfictional comic.
The writer is a COMIC BOOK WRITER.

I just saw the movie "300" and it was not as good as the 40 year old movie "300 Spartans" with Richard Egan. In many cases the characters were caricatures. Still, the movie was entertaining.
