Buy a TiVo with 120 hour memory. Then buy a good DVD RW system.
Trust me you'll thank me and wonder what life was like before TiVo.

I actually just bought a TiVo machine yesterday. I am switching to HD TVs and my local cable company doesn't have a HD DVR box.
