No, not yet. It has melted back a lot, but there are those big piles that accumulated from shoveling. They are going down. We never got the rain that was forecast for yesterday, a good rain would take it off the ground.

Sun is in and out here and it's in the low 50s. When the sun is out it's warm and when it's in it's cold.

I neglected to ping you to the above post.

I'm punishing myself right now.

I think that you are incorrect about the -40 for Californians. It is probably more like +10 degrees. That goodness we do not get snow on the valley floor. If we did, I would not go to work, fill my Thermos full of hot coffee and walk down to the Central Ave overpass and watch the fun of them trying to drive.

I didn't write that because, if I had, Floridians would have put on down parkas at 70º like my friend's cousin does - and she lives in Pensacola!

That is what happens here in California. It is 80 degrees here and they are all bundled up like Eskimos.

You're not there yet? Where you're cold at 80?

Though I've never spent more than 2 weekd in a row in Florida, I don't think I could ever get "there". Though, as everyone knows, it's not the heat, it's the humidity.

I run in around in a tee when it is 55. I just love the reaction it gets.

Around these parts, shorts & tees in winter is a young male phenomenon. Some young guys wear them year round.

Because I run hot, I'm always under-dressing, but the sight of some of those blokes on the coldest days, makes even ME shiver.

Which also reminds me, I remember a day when men didn't wear shorts, only long pants.

Take the purple test...my results.
You Are Grape
You are bold and a true individual. You are very different and very okay with that.
People know you as a straight shooter. You're very honest, even when the truth hurts.
You are also very grounded and practical. No one is going to sneak anything by you.
People enjoy your fresh approach to life. And it's this honesty that makes you a very innovative person.
What Color Purple Are You?

Okay, another surprise. I would not have guessed this color. People know you as a straight shooter. You're very honest, even when the truth hurts.

Good evening Soaring Feather. I was surprised at the color. The dialogue was a pretty accurate description of me. I would imagine the shades of night have come crashing down where you live. It is still daylight here. I think that we were close to a record high in temperature today.

It was much warmer here with lots more snow melt. I looked out the back door and saw Snow Drops blooming midst the snow. Ah, relief! Spring is on the way. Still four inches of snow in places in the backyard. Lots of dirty brown grass showing up here and there.

I think those tests are kinda fun. Odd, both of ours were the same. I suppose due to general questions. I am fond of the color purple.

Glad to hear that it is warmer there and that Spring arrives in 10 days. Those tests are fun. My favorite color is Blue.

All the colors I wear are cool colors, so blue is one I do wear.
