You gotta give him credit for that. He loved his family and dared anyone to harm them, by joking or otherwise. Coming from a very hick and redneck family, I can appreciate that. They might not all be educated or even classy by any degree, but they sure do love me and mine. And they would poke your eye out, or yank your heart out if you messed with us. hehe
