I use his recipes a lot and they always come out good. Hubby took me to one of his restaurants in New Orleans last summer. One of the others was not open for business yet because of damage from KAtrina, so we went to the newest one called NOLA. Pretty dang good food. It was such a thrill for me. And my husband asked the waiter if Emeril was there so i could meet him. Of course, the answer was "so sorry, he's out of town". But it was great anyway. Actually my hubby got a little drunk and spilled his water on me. The whole restaurant went quiet for a minute. Good thing i was the one facing the wall cuz my face musta been beet red. I was so embarrassed. But we both just cracked up.
