HKS and ANS hired Wecht to do a 2nd autopsy on Daniel. Wonder why HKS didn't ask him to do a 2nd one on ANS?

Now to the subject at hand. Wecht appears to be in the tank for (or with) HKS and I completely agree that he's worried that his autopsy on Daniel might get a review.
And Wecht's been saying this since the night she died. Just like HKS, Wecht is making statements that he cannot possibly know the answer to.
