Some of us pondered that the plan was to keep her sedated and get her on board the Cracker - then there would be a boating accident on the way to the Bahamas.

Well - to be truthful - I have wondered why Stern did his deed in Florida - instead of on the boat in international waters or even back in the Bahamas. Like some here have speculated about.
Or why didn't he wait until his official "marriage" to Anna?
Who knows?
Maybe he just saw his opportunity and took it.
Maybe he couldn't wait any longer because of the pending Daniel inquest.
Maybe he figured his name was on the birth certificate of Dannielynn and that would give him all the control he needed.
I don't think it can be called "accidental" though - especially if he injected her with demerol on top of all the other drugs she apparently had ingested.
