I think the abscess came in as common sense after we heard about Perper asking if she used Alcohol swabs when she injected herself. I am not sure who "guessed " that maybe she had an abscess. But I have never seen a source for the abscess info until some heard it on H&C tonight. Demerol injections are large muscle injections - they are suppose to injected into a large muscle. That could be your thigh, buttock, stomach muscles.

This is sooo yesterday I know..... but, regarding the swab and abscess talk..... You know what popped into my mind? Anna had lots of tattoos all over her body. I've been told you are to NEVER poke a needle into the skin through a tattoo. Maybe or what if.... someone unskilled poked her skin with some injection that got ink poison! Come on... remember i am the queen of the what if's. Sorry I'm out of the loop. Hired a trainer and been in the gym. Now I am hurtin and sour.
