What do you mean, go after Fox? He’s not seriously thinking of suing people for things they’ve said on TV, is he?

My god, he’s an attorney; he has to know that in a deposition they can ask him about how often he shaves his face if they want to!

From what I’ve been hearing about Lin Woods, he is being hired to go after anyone who has “defamed HKS.” It was said, yesterday on CTV, that HKS is holed up reading all the blogs, cataloging all TV programs, you name it where he is mentioned in any way, shape or form... said he is an attorney and is known for being very meticulous about these things.

I so agree. He is an attorney and not stupid when it comes to manipulation. I think he is trying to intimidate. If it doesn't work he'll try something else. Anything that doesn't leave him exposed.

A normal person would be incensed and go the distance if they were aggrieved. I think that Howard is not aggrieved in any deep way- Howard wants to control the narrative, and if something doesn't work for him, then he will drop it without a thought. IMO, he's just testing the waters.

The word is Wood sued FoxNews and I think Time and other media outlets re: some of his past clients - The Ramseys and The guy in the Atlanta Olympics bombing - forget his name....and won. (settlements).

The other word being put out is that when one sues for libel/slander, the person suing doesn't have to testify - but others have said like you did they do have to do depositions under oath.

But the other word is Wood hasn't totally signed on to the team Stern yet / and the word is that if such lawsuits went forward, Stern would have to come to the US for the court action. However, would he HAVE to show up if all he has to give is a deposition?

What else do you know about Wood? About his successes or failures? Anything?

Last night - Greta said Wood was certainly a great attorney but that such lawsuits needed great facts and in this case, the facts are not great for such lawsuits to win.

Last night Nancy Grace did not mention ANS case.

But tonight NG is on fire going after the issue of the amount of drugs that Anna was prescribed......emphasizing KE's role in prescribing all these meds. Even Perper said on NG that the Calif Medical Board that is now investigating KE will have a board of Experts and they will find out whether or not Dr. KE did anything wrong.....(Perper himself would of course never say KE did anything wrong).
