ATKINSON, N.H. Brad Delp, the lead singer for the band Boston, was found dead Friday in his home in southern New Hampshire. He was 55.
Atkinson police responded to a call for help at 1:20 p.m. and found Delp dead. Lt. William Baldwin said in a statement the death was "untimely" and that there was no indication of foul play.
Delp apparently was alone at the time, Baldwin said.

Condolences to Brad Delp's family and friends.
This makes me very sad. I adored Boston.
I hear Boston was going to do a tour this year, and that Brad was going to get married in the middle of the tour.
R.I.P.
Nuts! They were/are my favorite group of my youth. RIP.
Umm what happened? There was just a 40 post thread up for the last half hour on this that I posted. Why is it gone now?
I wondered what happened. As I said, "More Than a Feeling" was the first song I learned on a guitar. I just played along with the previously posted youtube link with a 1973 guitar. RIP
Oh, man. Sad news. Good memories.
Most underated band of the 20th century.
See my first comment, when I tried to post to your thread it indicated "pulled, not Front Page material".
Wow! Damn. Too young. Boston was and still is one of my favorite rock bands.
Somebody has to say it:
I guess now he has less than a feeling.
Okay, back to the condolences. It never shocks me when rockers die young. It only amazes me when they don't.
Wore out the first album:
All songs written by Tom Scholz, except where noted.
1. "More Than a Feeling" 4:46
2. "Peace of Mind" 5:02
3. "Foreplay/Long Time" 7:47
4. "Rock and Roll Band" 3:00
5. "Smokin'" (Bradley Delp, Scholz) 4:20
6. "Hitch a Ride" 4:13
7. "Something About You" 3:48
8. "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" (Delp) 4:43
Well if my original thread was not considered front page material than can you at least restore it? RIDICULOUS to just take it down.
Amen.
Stupid. You know I know the mod's on here have their hands full at times...but erasing the thread completely? RIDICULOUS.
That's a loss and a half to RNR, the music industry, and especially the fans of Boston!!
Ping!
