RALEIGH, N.C. --When John Cornwell graduated from Duke University last year, he landed a job as software engineer in Atlanta but soon found himself longing for his college lifestyle. So the engineering graduate built himself a reminder of life on campus: a refrigerator that can toss a can of beer to his couch with the click of a remote control. "I conceived it right after I got out," said Cornwell, a May 2006 graduate from Huntington, N.Y. "I missed the college scene. It embodies the college spirit that I didn't want to let go of."

Who will pick up the beer at the store and load the thing, pick up the empties, clean the bathroom and make the bed, though?

At my favorite pub, they start the tap flowing and let it waste for a couple of seconds before putting the mug in at an angle, so the beer flows down the side.
This produces a full mug with just a half-inch or so of head on top. Are they doing it right?

That's no good. I use bottles that require an opener, that is located where?, on the refrigerator. Which means I will have to get up walk to the refrigerator, pull out a frosted mug from the freezer, pop the bottle top, and poor me a cool one.
To: Gabz
I can buy them locally, but the rivers are all frozen, so the local clam boats aren't going out. I am not going clamming in ice! I'm looking to buy a cheap boat so I can get out to the better clammming areas when it warms up.

That's no good. I use bottles that require an opener, Me too, but I generaly use my bic lighter to open them. If not, my leatherman tool works almost as well.

How about a weight sensitive coaster that activates the beer catapult when your beer gets below 25% full?

When I joint my husband at a pub, thats how they pour the pint, since he really enjoys a fine ale or lager and it bothers him if it is to cold or to warm I am guessing it is correct..

I had seen where you mentioned earlier about the rivers being frozen. My husband's Christmas present to himself was a set of plans to build his own boat.........this is going to be intresting, I can't tell you how many hours he has spent with those plans spread out. Right now it's just too danged cold to go out on the water, but as soon as the weather breaks we have access to a friend's boat and plan on taking advantage of it!
