Not really sure if our society grows sicker or that the web and communications allow us a better glimpse of how we really are?

Great question.

Being old enough to now reflect on "The Good Old Days" never thought I would ever use that phrase.

Raised before Cable TV, the Internet and liberal moral relativity....when there was only one village idiot per village...and all the kids knew who he was.

Now we have a GLOBAL village - and we are in serious trouble.

Grant's lawyer had said that he feared his client was suicidal.

Yeah, the monster borrowed a friend's truck claiming he needed it because the LE had his. Then calls up his attorney whining making his attorney think he's comitting suicide. The least he could have done is save everyone the time and trouble, but nooo.

It's been going on since the dawn of time. There are more people now so the incidence of these crimes are higher. Also, the media reports on any sensational event from every podunk town in the world.
