Good Morning!

I think it has stopped snowing!

We have had more snow in one week here, then we have had all winter.

Peach, this carbon offset is a joke from the gitgo. Another liberal fantasy to compliment glowbull warnings.

I watched Flags of our Fathers a few nights ago, and was very disappointed. I've read the book and the I think the movie took a lot of liberties.

My biggest bone of contention with the movie is that you get the impression had the flag raisers had not done the bond drive we would have not won the wars in the Pacific or the Atlantic. I think that's alot of rubbish.

We had broken the back of the Japanese Navy in the Battle of Midway in 1942, and had done the same to the Axis in our invasion of France.

Everyone I have ever know, who lived and fought in the second world war, knew we would win. Even those on the homefront, worked to win that war.

It just steams me that Eastwood decided to depict the American people as manipulative and defeatist. He missed a great chance to do a wonderful job on this movie.

If they would remove the politics from our military in Iraq we could clean that place up in no time.....

Hi, Northern. Glad it stopped snowing for you.

A freeper saw the movie Flag of our Fathers and mentioned some of the liberties that Eastwood took with the movie -- some outright distortions. Anything to take away our heroes, I guess. It's shameful.
