He was also charged with damage to a mini-bar in the room, but this charge was later dropped when the defendant said that it was the donkey who caused that damage.Donkey obviously needed a drink, can't say that I blame him.

He was fined €2,000 for bringing the donkey to the room under the Unlawful Accommodation of Donkeys Act 1837.C'mon. I was stretching as far as I could, giving the benefit of the doubt, until that line. This has to be the Irish equivalent to Scrappleface or The Onion. Gotta be!
Other charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.
Well naturally. The donkey ate the key and drank all the liquor. Whatcha gonna do?

I really don't know. I consider this the best laugh of the day I've read so far. I will think about it as I am at the dentist. How he got the donkey into the room is beyond me. Maybe it was a mini donkey? Shaking my head again here ~P~
