Well, this ought to get you to the corner store in a just a sec!
Vroom, vroom!
Love to drive this on the Capital Beltway - at 3 in the morning.
Anyway, I like this 'dream' car ..
Saleen S7 Twin turbo
However I don't think GEICO would be pleased ;-)
What's the carbon footprint on that sucker?
One of the cars in the 'better power-weight ratio' list is actually affordable by normal people:
Caterham 7 Superlight R400 (0.40) comes in somewhere in the $50k range, more or less.
Nuts, you can build a standard 7 for maybe $25-$30k and run circles around anything except supercars.
It doesn't look like a good "date" car.
Won't work in the HOV lanes.
Waste of money to take it to a drive-in.
High stress driving on the same roads with children who dropped out of high school and think that "Jackass 2" is the best movie ever.
From the photo, about the only place it looks good is on a showroom.
Add water wings and it would make a good birthday present for Teddy Kennedy.
If it doesn't have room for kid seats, groceries, luggage, and gun carts, I ain't interested at any price.
OMG but that car is ugly - for that kind of money, I believe I could design one that looked better than this!
It's a biplane???
Hm. Pretty pointless car, actually, because there's no room for a beautiful woman.
My guess is that it wouldn't pass the Missouri State inspection. Besides, where would you put the front license plate?
Save yourself $654,000 and go buy a $6,000 250 cc shifter kart that will easily outperform this sucker up to 130 mph, and buy a regular commuter car.
Trust me, with your butt 3/4 an inch off the ground, 130 mph is fast enough.
