You missed my point entirely.

My point is that the parents are highly suspect from the very beginning.

I never said that the perp shouldn't be prosecuted or that what he did is okay in any way. If he's found guilty I hope that he's given the heaviest sentence possible because what he did is sick and horrible.

I simply pointed out that he put himself at very high risk to report to the police which lends weight to his accusation, and that the parents should be investigated.
