No, no, no, 'Face. We followed your moving tales with rapt attention.

Thanks, Bob!
Actually, my truck is now far enough away that if someone tries to break into, the neighbors are going to cuss, and I won't know until someone tells me that "ulgy blue truck made SUCH a noise last night, I had to take out my hearing aid!"

I'm back. Had to do the short version of the show this year...It's always fun to go.
Parking at the convention center was $12--AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!
LA is such a dump.

It's depressing driving around the convention center downtown...The place is an absolute cesspool. It's so filthy and run down, no wonder they want so much money to park and escape it.
Next year I'm riding my motorcycle.

"I'm back." What did you bring us? Huh? Huh?
With our newfound interest in fusion technology, we could use some vacuum pumps and ion injectors.

Funny you should mention vacuum pumps....
The last thing I looked at on the way out the door was a company that makes vacuum fixtures and systems for machining. I got some good ideas (this is the real reason I go, not to buy stuff, but to spy close up on how things are done in the industry). I got some good ideas on a coolant recovery system, and I found out you can use MDF as a machinable vacuum plate in a pinch.
I never miss WesTec.

In "News You Might Have Missed ..." Rush was talking today about a Scientific report about using more stable isotopes as supplements to animal and people food in order to remove one more source of free radicals.
I don't expect anyone to recall, but this was suggested over a year ago as one of the programs instituted in our recycling operations.
By isolating and separating the more unstable isotopes, and reintroducing to the populace only the stable variety, you prolong the life expectancy, and reduce the hazard due to stray radiation damage.
I wonder how many other ideas they could glean from the Undead Thread?
