It looks as though the cat was in the same room, back in the corner near the tree.
The image of the cat was stretched to fill the sunlit space under the window. Note that the center part of the slider no longer casts a shadow. It should be falling between the cat's ears.
Note also that the shadow of the cat is a little darker than the shadow of the wall. A smaller cat would be closer to its shadow, preventing diffuse lighting of its shadow.
Great picture, though.

I think she finds the humming comforting. Agnes used to lie on the keyboard, but Wednesday is too big!
She was getting more friendly until the unfortunate incident this week. I hope she'll come out and make nice later tonight, when we have the little boys in bed.
