Good Morning!
Sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky, slight breeze, probably get up into the 80s today.....And the local PD is busting people hiring day laborers up the street at the Home Depot.....
What A Great Day this is shaping up to be!

Oh, MAN! Go take photos! You know it won't make the news!
WOO-HOO! I wish they'd do that here. It's almost impossible to pull into Home Depot parking because all the illegals try to jump out and make me notice them...only men drive pickups south of the border, you know...

This is so funny....the street that goes by the side of the Home Depot Tees into another street at the back....the cop is waiting right there at the tee, in plain sight, and people are so unafraid of getting in trouble that they pull up on the street in plain sight of the Police.....It's too easy--like shooting fish in a barrel.
I wish they would do that all the time. Every time I drive by on my way to the shop, in my Ford truck, there are dozens of them flagging me down. I hate it.

They're bold as brass here. In 2000, I called INS and told them of two places where a person could get a driver's license and a social security card for $100 a pop. I mean, EVERYbody knew about the illegal activity.
They said they couldn't do anything because they didn't have the manpower. Yah. I bet they found all the manpower they needed on 9/12/2001.

Hi, Face! What a morning... thought I'd just do a few final preps for tomorrow's class, and it all went downhill. Though I'm about ready now.
To: sionnsar
I'm glad to hear that!
I started out sorting a few papers for filing and it turned into a major project. *sigh*
It's done, as far as I'm concerned!

Well, I spoke too soon. Sat down to write out a few notes for several slides... and found I needed to touch up some graphics, finish writing the "slide notes", and found that a slide had disappeared completely.
Sigh. Had expected to spend the day on the subsequent session, and haven't even started it yet. But I think I'm ready for tomorrow now...
But at least your project is done...

But at least the horrible sun is gone and it's drizzling again. *\:-)

I still haven't seen any clouds in the sky today....can we borrow some of yours?
Someone should talk to atmosphere control and see about making that happen...

I left my umbrella at the office, so I arrived today with a slightly damp, drizzled look. Ah, Seattle!

"Had expected to spend the day on the subsequent session, and haven't even started it yet. But I think I'm ready for tomorrow now.." If you're having trouble keeping your days properly corraled, Tax-Chick can lend you a Temporal Novice or two.
They're great for resuscitating the dead time you need for past due assignments.
If, on the other hand, you have too much time on your hands, no one is better at killing time than Pat.

I'm glad you don't require me to write poems for all your children.
You should do it of your own volition for practice, and for our reading pleasure.

You could write volumes....Call it something original, like "The Adventures of Tax-Chick's Kids".

Call it something original, like "The Adventures of Tax-Chick's Kids". Oh, ny gosh! That is a terrible idea. (In the original sense.)

How many kids does TC have?
And, you have to throw in the cats....Wednesday is worth at least 2 volumes, one for her pre-Tax-Chick life and one for after she was adopted.

I've got eleven characters, including the cat, which will be a male named Raul.
The other characters will have only a tenuous relationship with the original kids. They can figure out which one is which.
