Consider this: How will you market your art?

The answer to that may determine at what stage, if any, the computer enters the creative process.

Take a look at the secret of Maxfield Parrish's work. Perhaps you may be able to take advantage of a new technology in a similar fashion.

Here's an example: "The Unsatisfactory Portrait"

On a computer screen, a picture takes shape as we watch. Then we see elements undraw themselves, and slight changes take place.

Over and over, the picture reaches a stage of completion, and then backs away from it. Again and again, the portrait emerges, only to fade once more. To be redrawn with slight variations, constantly in search of a forever elusive perfection.

(In fact, I like this idea so much I may steal it from myself and put it in a book.)

I know about baby boys :-).

The jumper is too small for Anoreth, so it might fit me, but I can't wear it until Vlad is weaned, because there's no way to nurse. I'll measure the little girls before I decide to make them anything; I figured a size 10 would fit Anoreth, but she's bulked up.

I haven't had one in years. Quite smoking before Ana was born and haven't looked back since. I still get a hankering for a cigar once in a while.

These days, my doubts about what it would do to my workouts keeps me from slipping up.

I quit smoking 20+ years ago, and still wake up in a cold sweat when I dream I'm still lighting up. Of course, it was only after I quit that I realized I was allergic to cigarette smoke!

Morning, kiddies!

In my younger days, I knew I'd had more than enough to drink when I began to light up Swisher Sweets....

Swishers aren't bad...especially when you're on a budget.

LOL!!

Yah! I know. When I lit up a little cigar, it was time to go home for sure! But I quit smoking in 1980, and I've never looked back. Except for the nightmares about it...

Of course I really enjoy a good cigar with my haggis.

Throw in some fine spirits to top it off.....

Well, since I'm not smioking any more, and have to limit my drinking to the non-alcoholic kind of brew, life is pretty tame. *sigh*
