I didn't even finish my first errands of the day before Murphy bit me in the @$$ again.
I ran out of gas on the way to work...had to go home and get my bicycle and a gallon of gas. Good exercise, though.
I guess next time I'll only let the gas gauge get to one whole needle width below the Empty line before I fill 'er up.

I'm so paranoid about running out of gas (this IS Las Vegas, y'know) that I get panicky if it goes below a quarter tank.
But I know the feeling...I had a whole month like that.

I ran out of gas on the way to work... Bummer. I used to tend to fill up at a quarter-tank, but with my short commute I often let it go down to an eighth or so.
I also fill up on Fridays.

It's not the commute that kills me....I live .9 miles from work, it's all the other running around I have to do. I suppose the smart thing would be to fill up once a week...but I don't like to go to the gas station any more than I have to--It's very depressing.

My little truck takes $26 to fill at 1/4 of a tank. I was making four trips a month to Henderson to get my mail. It was a 35 mile round trip, if I didn't have any other stops to make.
I'm REALLY glad I only have to go a mile, now! LOL!
I think if I lived as close to work as you do, I'd walk as often as I could. Just because I like to walk!

I'd walk too, if it weren't for having to take the girls to school. Of course if I had a company truck at work, I could walk the girls to school, walk to work, and then run my errands...Hmmmmmm......I'll have to talk to the accountant about that one....
