Boy, so that's what happened. I like to listen to John and Ken, but my daughter likes to listen to classical. So, I listened to John and Ken a bit to see what they were talking about and hit the button for KMZT, and got country! Kept going back and forth for awhile, then I told my daughter that this happens sometimes.
Sigh. What will we listen on the way to ballet? John and Ken aren't always that appropriate.

I guess that calms down the country music fans who were pitching fits when the only country station in Los Angeles flipped to hip-hop format a few months ago.
That's the nature of radio, and why terrestrial radio sucks.

It boggles my mind that people who call themselves conservative don't listen to the musical jewels of Western music all day long, and allow for something like this to happen.
Listening to country is fine, but we can't let classical music die.

Mozart wrote country. Austria is a country.
Yeah, I know it's weak...

Well it would be one thing if it was actually a real country station that was being switched to. You know, George Jones, Charlie Daniels and Tammy Wynette to name a few.
But no. What we will get is no doubt a steady diet of Kenny Chesney, lame Garth Brooks ballads and other pretender "hat acts."

Any classical music station that had to brand itself as "K-Mozart" was probably not taking classical music seriously anyway.
