Water is like a magnet for me too. I tend to play the whole course. I am consistently inconsistent and don't take myself to seriously. I used to get real mad, then my brother told me I wasn't good enough to get mad. So now I just have fun!(and a couple of beers)
I havent gotten mad yet, but if i get the ball in within one or two shots on the green ive been known to jump up and down and sqeal with delight. not proper form on the green;)
theres a golf course just up the street, but all the snooty folks play there and everyone is par or better. i drive 40 minutes to wright and play. hardly ever have to let anyone play thru and mostly guys playing each hole for beer LOL
