You are right, although it is not pc to say so.

It does not alter the seriousness of rape to note that in some cases, there is an element of reckless negligence by the victim. This is especially so in a whole series of high-profile rape cases in Australia, where young girls have gone out hitch-hiking and drug taking - then were raped. If they showed better conduct, their lives would be a lot safer.
