perhaps it was the Rachel Corrie Special (short order of pancakes with a caterpillar on top flattened into a falafel),
but I don't see an actual definition of ratiocinactive...
I saw it is Pancake Day on February 20. Pancake may be a WFTD, just add a little wit to it. How about Adjective 2, "artful"?

I find the thing that helps me the most during heated discussions, especially here on Free Republic, is to analyze what about my opposition's posts makes me angry.
Once I've studied that, and tried to neutralize it intellectually, I can proceed to deal with the subject matter.
It is not easy to set aside anger, but vituperation and invective do not persuade, they only heighten temperaments.
Cold analysis gets to the heart of the matter, and also cools the rhetoric.
