She's Done It Again, Britney Spears Goes Bald

Just as reports of Britney Spears entering and exiting rehab began to die down, local ABC affiliate KABC aired video of a bald Spears getting a tattoo last night in Sherman Oaks.

There are stills of Britney shaving her head at celebvids.co.uk. Apparently every move the woman makes is photographed in some way. Spears doesn't look drunk in the photos... or very happy....

Although we sorta like the new 'do as it reminds us a little G.I. Jane action, some of the fans who sped down to "Body and Soul" to catch a peek of the pop star weren't having it.

Spears could be seen inside the tattoo parlor with her head fully exposed, but as she left the shop she was led by her bodyguard straight to a waiting SUV. Spears had her head covered with a hooded sweatshirt to hide her new noggin.

The sidewalk outside the shop was filled with fans, onlookers and paparazzi. Some fans that were interviewed after Spears departed declared the new look less than flattering. - KABC

Meanwhile some inside the tattoo shop said that Spears seemed bummbed out while she was there.

“She seemed very distraught and disturbed. Um, she was very scatter-brained and wasn’t really answering many questions.”, Mary Hughes told KABC reporter Leslie Miller.

Britney got at least one tattoo, a pair of lips for her wrist, but Hughes hinted that she might have gotten more. We hope it says LAist.

I think she had ruined her hair by all the repeated dying and gluing of extentions. Although a tad extreme, this may be the only way to start fresh. That or she wanted a clean canvas in which to start her collection of head tattoos :-)

I would agree that the hardest thing in the world to handle is success . . .

Britney's problem is that she lives in a world completely insolated from everyday grounded reality. She's so rich, and so famous, she can go anywhere she wants, anytime she wants, for as long as she wants. And when she gets there, people worship her.

That will drive almost anyone over the top!

I'm the only one in the world that could handle it, I think . . . :-)

The problem is that our culture "cares" what Brittney spears does or Hollywood in general. Turn off the TV youll be better for it!!!! Those people are no different than anyone else in the world they are FAKE heros, the only reason half of them are even known is because of hype the invention of the TV etc.... media world! Its all smoke and mirrors in Hollywood! Nothing there to realy take seriously, dont get me wrong I enjoy a good story now and then, but Hollywood is falling far to short of any good stories in this day and age!!!

This isn't funny. We are watching a girl kill herself...and we sit and laugh. WHERE ARE HER PARENTS? WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO LOVE HER?

When asked why she shaved her head, she said she didn't want people touching her anymore. That has to be one of the saddest quotes I've read in quite some time.

I agree. She seems desperate to change but doesn’t know what the means or how to do it Shaving her head is just a symbolic gesture and a cry for help IMHO.

Hollywood and the sick public (us in general) that feeds this frenzy, likes nothing better than seeing a downward spiral in slow motion. We laugh and say we’re smarter and better than “they are“, and laugh at the very real pain of someone else’s very sad and very real tragic life. It’s like the ancient Romans watching death in the Coliseum – hey as long as we are entertained – who cares what happens or who dies?

These are stupid, desperate people with low self esteem, like Brittany, Anna Nicole, Paris, Lindsey, Monroe, Whitney, Elvis, etc, who have good looks and talent, or in some cases very limited or no talent, who have even more limited brains or the ability to know or understand the difference between real love and the kind of attention that their fifteen minutes of fame will bring to them, especially because the hanger-on’s who are only seeking to make a fast bucks off of them at any expense to their meal ticket’s well being feed them a false sense of worth. These people seem desperate for love and attention, try to find it in fame then ultimately sink into the oblivion of addiction as a last substitute to numb the pain of what they really lack in life.

I feel sorry for the Brittany’s of this world. I wish I could grab her and shake her and tell her there is so much more to life. You are right. Sadly there’s no one around who cares enough to do that for her. She needs some tough love and an intervention and soon.

Honestly now, does she look like she's having fun? This girl just had a baby and filed for a divorce. She couldn't be screaming any louder for help if she lit herself on fire.

The astronaut lady is quite obviously sick. She will get the help she needs, probably in a prison. Who is going to help Britney? Nobody who is making money off of her death spiral, that's for sure.
