She's Done It Again, Britney Spears Goes Bald

Just as reports of Britney Spears entering and exiting rehab began to die down, local ABC affiliate KABC aired video of a bald Spears getting a tattoo last night in Sherman Oaks.

There are stills of Britney shaving her head at celebvids.co.uk. Apparently every move the woman makes is photographed in some way. Spears doesn't look drunk in the photos... or very happy....

Although we sorta like the new 'do as it reminds us a little G.I. Jane action, some of the fans who sped down to "Body and Soul" to catch a peek of the pop star weren't having it.

Spears could be seen inside the tattoo parlor with her head fully exposed, but as she left the shop she was led by her bodyguard straight to a waiting SUV. Spears had her head covered with a hooded sweatshirt to hide her new noggin.

The sidewalk outside the shop was filled with fans, onlookers and paparazzi. Some fans that were interviewed after Spears departed declared the new look less than flattering. - KABC

Meanwhile some inside the tattoo shop said that Spears seemed bummbed out while she was there.

“She seemed very distraught and disturbed. Um, she was very scatter-brained and wasn’t really answering many questions.”, Mary Hughes told KABC reporter Leslie Miller.

Britney got at least one tattoo, a pair of lips for her wrist, but Hughes hinted that she might have gotten more. We hope it says LAist.

The media whore is likely upset by the media focus on the still dead Anna Nicole Smith and their neglect in chasing Britney's bare crotch around tinsle town. Desperate times call for desperate action. She shaved the 'beave' now it's time to go up town.

Head shaving matches are not uncommon in wrestling. Years ago Molly Holly had her head shaved as did Kurt Angle.

Sorry, but in her prime, Anna Nicole Smith did have "looks". I'm with you on the other observations.

(Spears had looks too...and really not much else.)

Britney Spears 'back into rehab'

Pop star Britney Spears is back in rehab, days after shaving her head, People magazine and TMZ.com report. Spears checked into an unnamed facility at the request of her mother and other family members, the reports said.

"We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends... ," People quoted her manager Larry Rudolph as saying.

Spears was spotted by fans without her hair after shaving it off in a Los Angeles tattoo parlour on Friday.

She reportedly spent one day in a rehabilitation centre in the Caribbean last week.

Since splitting with husband Kevin Federline last year, Spears has been making headlines with her partying lifestyle.

Drastic cut

People's website quoted a statement by Spears' management which said: "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today."

Spears had her drastic haircut at Esther's Hair Studio in California on Friday, but was later seen wearing a wig.

The studio was later reported to have set up a website to auction the hair for more than $1m (£512,500).
