Children should be taught to fear all dogs at a very young age. That way when they grow up, they won't be dumb enough to ask, "how much is that doggie in the window".

So because you clearly have some bad dog experiences, no one should have one? My children have been raised to respect a dog's space and my dog's have been taught that they are not in charge of the house. My kids are much more likely to be injured by a human being than a dog. They can be burned by a stove, they can be hit by a car, they can fall while walking and break a bone. They can get hit in the face with a baseball while playing, they can get their fingers caught in a car door. They can be walking home and get raped, they can be driving home and be carjacked. Maybe I should just teach them to be pantophobic.

Children should be taught to *RESPECT* all dogs!

Now that's better.
